A QUARTER OF MILESTONES

A message from Rob Boyer, CEO

Q2 brought important milestones for Narthex. We reached a new audience of churches and pastors beyond Kansas City, reflected in a 71% increase in pipeline activity.

We also went under contract on our first acquisitions outside the region, with church properties in Ohio and Florida, while actively partnering with growing congregations searching for space across 10 additional states. In addition, we have more than $3 million in additional projects ready to fund in Texas, Ohio, and Missouri.

As the Church experiences renewed energy, we are seeing that resurgence firsthand in communities across the country.

Q2 was not without its challenges. A major water main break at Our Lady of Lourdes Church required patience, time, and money to repair. But that is the reality of church buildings. Things break. We fix them, and we move forward. Because the building is never just the building. It is the worn wood, the old hymnal, the morning light through stained glass, and the sacred space where generations have prayed, gathered, grieved, celebrated, and hoped. Thank you for being part of the journey.

Onward,

Rob.

KINGDOM IMPACT

Space challenges are not limited to small or newly formed churches. Thriving ones often face the same obstacle when launching a second location, planting a new congregation, or reaching a growing part of their community. The vision may be clear and the leaders ready, but finding and funding the right space can delay the mission.

Last quarter, I had the privilege of speaking with some of the most successful church planters in the Acts 29 network – seasoned leaders who understand how to launch, grow, and sustain healthy churches. Those conversations confirmed what we are seeing nationwide: strong churches are ready to multiply, but traditional real estate models can create risk, delay, and donor fatigue.

Narthex is expanding our offering and tailoring a new approach to help thriving churches plant faster, preserve capital, reduce risk, and enter communities where their ministry is needed most.

...Because every new location begins with a place to gather.
