Our Lady of Lourdes

For more than 50 years, Our Lady of Lourdes stood as a pillar of the Catholic community in Raytown. When the pandemic brought the need for consolidation, the decision was made to sell this historic corner property.

At the same time, The City KC — a growing church of nearly 1,000 members — had been searching for a permanent home. They seized the opportunity to worship in the 750-seat sanctuary at Our Lady of Lourdes, and attendance quickly doubled to more than 2,000 each weekend, with a fourth service now under consideration.

A quiet neighborhood church has become a vibrant, thriving center of worship once again. Thanks be to God.
