A busy quarter…
A message from Rob Boyer, CEO
Q1 saw an excellent increase in activity. We completed our acquisition of Grace Paseo church. We have a verbal agreement on a new church acquisition, Metro Church of Kansas City, and many other exciting opportunities in the pipeline.
We have encouraging results from our Partnership program. You’ll recall this is a program for churches who aren’t ready to sell their building but are interested in leasing the unused spaces in their church to generate income. Congratulations to Darren who recently executed our first revenue producing lease agreement under this program!
Pastor Blake is making very good inroads with the Christian counseling community; ideal M-F tenants for any of our locations. Blake is also cultivating new connections for us with the Hispanic church planting community and other ethnic worshiping groups looking for space.
Due to the widening distribution of this newsletter, you will no longer see detailed financials in this report. We will provide a summary. If you have specific financial questions, we’re always happy to answer them.
It has always been my dream that Narthex would become its’ own marketplace for church real estate. A one-stop shop for churches when they want to buy, sell, lease, or need help with a variety of other services. I’m so pleased to report that we are seeing signs of just this type of activity. There is much to be excited about.

Spiritual impact
A good story... You’ll recall that last quarter we had issues with our tenant at Blue Ridge Trinity. Due to an internal scandal, they missed December and January rent and it appeared as though it would take an eviction action for them to leave the property. In a surprising twist, we were able to achieve an amicable parting of ways. The tenant depar-ted, and within three weeks, we had a new tenant on a 3-year lease and get this, they paid the first year of rent in advance! God is good! Please welcome King’s Family church to the Narthex community (Pastor Ryan and his wife, Courtney, pictured here with Darren).
